About this work
The Carousel
The Carousel explores elements of time, movement, and perception. This work delves into the relationship between reality, memory, and imagination, exploring contrasts between illusion and truth. Originally developed from a dream involving a man riding a horse broken off of a carousel. Through puzzle, a scene of fragmented imagery touches on themes involving freedom, control, passion, and lost time.
